Sono Professore Associato di Politica Economica presso il Dipartimento di Economia e Statistica (DEPS) dell'Università di Siena. Sono entrato a far parte del DEPS nel 2024 dopo aver prestato servizio come Professore Associato di Economia presso l'University of Leeds (Regno Unito) per otto anni (2017-2024). Sono anche IZA Research Fellow, Visiting Research Fellow presso la Leeds University Business School (Regno Unito) e studioso affiliato presso FCEA, Universidad de la República (Uruguay).
La mia ricerca si colloca all’intersezione tra economia del lavoro ed economia organizzativa. Attualmente, sto lavorando sull'impatto delle normative sull'orario di lavoro e delle tecnologie avanzate sul mercato del lavoro. Altri interessi includono le istituzioni che danno voce ai lavoratori, le cooperative, l’azionariato dei dipendenti e le applicazioni dell’economia comportamentale agli studi sul lavoro, sull’organizzazione e sulla disuguaglianza.
