Presentation

I am Associate Professor in Economic Policy at the Department of Economics and Statistics (DEPS) at the University of Siena. I joined DEPS in 2024 after serving as an Associate Professor in Economics at the University of Leeds (UK) for eight years (2017-2024). I am also IZA Research Fellow, Visiting Research Fellow at Leeds University Business School (UK) and affiliated scholar at FCEA, Universidad de la República (Uruguay). 

My research lies at the intersection between labour and organisational economics. I am currently working on the labour market impact of working time regulations and advanced technologies. Other interests include worker voice institutions, cooperatives, employee ownership, and applications of behavioural economics to labour, organisation, and inequality studies.
