Associate Professor of Geography at the Department of Social, Political and Cognitive Sciences (DISPOC) of the University of Siena. Venere Sanna participates and plays a leading role in numerous national and international projects.
Her research interests include regional economic development; environmental, spatial and urban development policies; socio-economic and spatial inequalities; the sharing and collaborative economy; sustainable and shared mobility; sustainability; the low-carbon economy and the circular economy; citizen science; and approaches and methodologies for economic, geographical and statistical research.
Her research method is based on a strongly interdisciplinary approach, and her eclectic publication record reflects the diversity of her fields of knowledge and study.
