Associate Professor of Geography at the Department of Social, Political and Cognitive Sciences (DISPOC) of the University of Siena. Venere Sanna participates and plays a leading role in numerous national and international projects. Her research interests include regional economic development, European policies, migrant integration processes, social movements, sustainability issues, the sharing economy and collaborative economy, research methodologies in economic and social geography, and Citizen Science. Her research method is based on a strongly interdisciplinary approach, and her eclectic publication record reflects the diversity of her fields of knowledge and study.
