Marika Rullo, Ph.D, is an Assistant Professor of Social Psychology at University of Siena. She completed the BA, MSc, and D.Phil at the University of Rome Sapienza, before receiving a Swiss Excellence Fellowship to work at University of Lausanne (CH), and a Newton Fellowship to work at University of Kent (UK). Her research focuses on intra and intergroup dynamics and their role in shaping social-moral cognition and behavior. Recently her work is focused on analyzing the origin and evolution of conspiracy beliefs in relation conflictual intergroup processes. Her work is deeply interdisciplinary, comprising traditional social psychological approaches, evolutionary theory, and behavioural economics.
