Presentation

Angelo Riccaboni is Full Professor in Business Administration, since 1999. He teaches Advanced Management Control and Sustainable Development in the the Second cycle degree (Laurea Magistrale) in International Accounting and Management (Department of Business and Law – University of Siena).

Main research interests related to the topics of governance and management control of sustainability implemented at the corporate level as well as regarding the role played by organizations and Universities to foster sustainable innovations.

Past Rector of University of Siena (2010-2016) and Chair of Foundation of the Association of Italian Rectors (CRUI) (2014-2016).

Chair, since 2016, of the Steering Committee of Santa Chiara Lab, Innovation Center of University of Siena.

 

Chair, since 2017, of the Fundación PRIMA (Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area, http://prima-med.org/) Board of Trustees (Barcelona), and Manager, since 2016, of 4 PRIMA, Coordination and Support Action funded by the European Commission-DG Research and Innovation.

Member of the Leadership Council, since 2012, and of the Network Strategic Council, since 2019, of Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) promoted by United Nations. Chair, since 2013, of SDSN-MED, the Mediterranean part of such a Network.

Co-Chair, since 2018, of the Osservatorio Italiano delle Dichiarazioni di carattere non-finanziario (DNF) e delle pratiche aziendali di sostenibilità that arose from the partnership between CSR Manager Network Italia and the Department of Business and Law Studies (DISAG) – University of Siena.

Coordinator, since 2014, of the Osservatorio Università-Imprese (Observatory University-Enterprises) of Fondazione CRUI (Foundation of the Association of Italian Rectors)

Member, since 2018, of the International Academic Committee of the Institute for Sustainable Development Goals of Tsinghua University, Bejing.

Coordinator, since 2017, of the Panel SDG#2 of the Italian Alliance for the Sustainable Development (ASVIS). 

In the period 2005-2010, Dean of Richard Goodwin Faculty of Economics and Management of the University of Siena.
