On this page, you will find information about my research, teaching and institutional activities, updates and useful notices, as well as links to my virtual office and curriculum vitae.
My research activity focuses primarily on private law and has resulted in five monographic essays and numerous scientific articles published in nationally recognized journals, with a particular emphasis on contract law. I am currently the Principal Investigator of the GeTeR – Genetic Technologies Regulation project, selected under the University of Siena’s New Frontiers 2025 Call. Previously, I coordinated the research project Reifications, Re-significations, and Restitutions of Human Cultural Heritage (RRRBCU), funded by the 2022 Research Support Plan and concluded in 2024.
My teaching activity can be framed along two complementary temporal fronts: the near future, represented by ELSI in Genetics (i.e., the implications of genetic technologies on private law relationships), and the distant past, focused on cultural heritage and archaeology, which allows an investigation of the legal implications of “testimonies of civilizational value,” also in relation to recent consumer-oriented forms of enjoyment.
I also carry out institutional activities for my Department, where I serve as Delegate for the “Circolo Giuridico” Library and as a member of its Governing Board. Additionally, I am the Delegate for Orientation and Tutoring. I currently coordinate, as Scientific Coordinator, the POT project VALE PLUS (2022–2025) and its second edition, VALE PLUS II (2025–2028), which is currently in the submission phase.
