Presentation

Associate Professor since 2021, she is a member of the Department of Political and International Sciences (DISPI), University of Siena.

She carries out research in the field of Constitutional, Electoral and Parliamentary Law, with particular attention to the justiciability of rights, the process of European Integration and the characteristics of Democracy in the pluralistic system and in the Regional State.

At DISPI she holds the following courses: Regional Law, at the Master's Degree Course “Administrative Sciences - LM-63”;  Personal Data Protection at the Master's Degree Course “Social Sustainability and Welfare Management - LM- 87”.

At Department of Political and Cognitive Sciences (DISPOC) she teaches Public Law Institutions at the Bachelor's Degree “Social Services Sciences - L-39”.

She is Educational Board’s President of the Master's Degree Course “Administrative Sciences - LM-63”.

Since 2021 she has been included in the List of Expert Consultants for CAREUS Committee of the University of Siena.

She is a member of the Italian Association of Constitutionalists

She is part of the Editorial Committee of “Giurisprudenza costituzionale”, a Class A Academic Journal (ANVUR Classification)

She is part of the Editorial Committee of “Nomos (Observatory section on the Constitutional Court)”, a Class A Academic Journal (ANVUR Classification)

She is part of CIRDUIS – Inter University Research Center on Human Rights and Immigration and Foreigner Law

She is part of "Laboratorio per le Riforme " (https://labriforme.info/) and of blog "Le costituzionaliste".

She was a member of the Editorial Committee of the Italian Association of Constitutionalists website from 2006 to 2008.

In July 2018 she obtained the National Scientific Qualification as Associate Professor, in sector 12/C1 (Constitutional Law).

She has been a Permanent Researcher and Adjunct Professor since 2005 at the University of Siena, teaching "Regional Law" and - since 2016 - "Public Law Institutions".

From 2005 to 2017 she taught "Administrative Law" as part of modular course "Health Law and Professional Responsibility" at the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, Master's Degree Course in Sciences of Health Professions and Diagnostic Techniques of the University of Rome "La Sapienza".

She has held lessons at: Formez; Master in European Parliamentary Institutions for Assembly Consultants, Department of Political Sciences, University of Rome “La Sapienza; Higher School of Administration, Ministry of Internal Affairs.

She was a member of the Teaching Council of the "Public Law Section" of “Legal, Historical and Social Sciences PhD” - University of Siena - for the entire period of activity of this Section (2005-2011).

She has participated in national and international research projects co-financed by Ministry of the University

From 1997 to 2005 she contributed to teaching and research activities at the University of Rome “La Sapienza”, at the Free International University of Social Studies, “LUISS”, at the University of Perugia and at the University of Siena, collaborating with the chairs of: Public Law Institutions; Parliamentary Law; Theory and Technique of Legislation and Interpretation; Constitutional Justice, Constitutional Law, Information Law.
