Presentation

Born in Naples (1987), graduated summa cum laude at the University of Naples (2012) in Historical Sciences, got my PhD in Historical Sciences at the University of Turin (2016). From 2016 to 2020, I have been Research Fellow at the Department of Historical Sciences and Cultural Heritage of the University of Siena and since 2017 to 2021 also Adjunct professor of History of Historiography and History of Contemporary Italy. I have also been Invited researcher/Chercheur invité Fondation Maison des sciences de l'homme (FMSH)/l’Institute d’Historie du temp Present, University Paris 8

Principal investigator of the PRIN 2022 "ITALIAN COLD WAR BORDERS. A NEW RESEARCH FRAMEWORK ON TRASFORMATION DURING DETENTE" with the Universities of Bozen, Trieste and Udine.

Co-director of the Arena 4 "Digital Heritage" in the context of the DSSBC project for the "Excellent department" 2023-2027

Research areas:History and historiography of contemporary Italy, with specific specialization in the World Wars and Fascist eras, maritime, naval and military history. ​
