Carlotta Contrini is an RTD-A in French Language and Translation at the Dipartimento di Filologia e critica delle letterature antiche e moderne at the University of Siena.
She studied at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Brescia, 2017). She obtained her PhD in Stylistique comparée from the University of Lausanne (Switzerland, 2023).
Since 2022, she has been a contract lecturer first at the Università Cattolica and then at DFCLAM.
Her main research interests focus on comparative literary stylistics and literary discourse, textual genetics (the transition from manuscript to printed text) and post-editorial genetics (the transition from feuilleton to volume), the history of the French language and translation theory.
