Antonella Brozzetti is full professor of Economic Law; she teaches European Banking and Finance Law (EGIF LM Course) and Banking Law and Law (SEB LT Course).
In 1986 she won a scholarship for the School of specialization in banking disciplines. She was admitted in 1987 to the PhD in Banking Law and Law; title of PhD in 1989; achievement in 2013 of the ASN eligibility for the functions of II level university professor, and in 2018 of the ASN eligibility for the functions of first level university professor.
The publications focus on the following research areas: banking, credit unions, financial groups and conglomerates; soft law, G-SIFIs, banking concentration; vigilance; banking history; payment cards; trading in illiquid products; organization of financial markets, covered bonds, securitisation, customer protection; reform of the European banking and financial system, banking and capital markets union, sustainability, economic transitions.
In 2018 and 2021 she was awarded one of the prizes that the Department to which she belongs assigned to research excellence.
She is a member of ADDE-Association of teachers of economic law, participating in the Board with the functions of treasurer (since December 2022); of the CEDIB-Centre for the study of law and banking legislation; of the DIPEC-Research and Training Group in European and Comparative Public Law).
She is a member of the Education Committee of EGIF. Antonella was a member of the Orientation and Tutoring Commission (delegated by DISAG until October 2021): for the University, Antonella chaired the Disciplinary Commission for the imposition of sanctions on students (until July 2022).
She is a member of the scientific committee of the class A "Diritto della banca e del mercato finanziario"(since 1987) and a member of the Series of Legal Studies published by Giappichelli (University of Milan Bicocca).
Antonella is a member of the teaching staff of the PhD in Legal Sciences of the Universities of Siena and Foggia.
Among the extra-university collaborations, we note the participation in the Commission for the assignment of scholarships named after "Donato Menichella" (from 2020 to 2023), as well as in the Regency Council of the Bank of Italy, Florence office (from 2020-in course).
