Presentation

Elisa Ticci Public Economics and Development Economics and she is a researcher in the academic discipline SECS-P/02 Economic Policy. She graduated in Economics in 2003 and received her PhD in Development Economics from the University of Florence in 2007. She was visiting researcher at Georgetown University (2005) in Washington DC and at Grupo de Análisis para el Desarrollo (GRADE) in Lima (2006). In 2009, she was post-doc fellow at the European University Institute. She worked as research assistant and consultant on themes related to development economics for the Unicef ​​Office of Research Innocenti (2005 and 2007), World Bank (2008-2012), European University Institute (2008) and HelpAge International (2011). From 2012 to 2017, she was research fellow in Siena within the EU Seventh Framework Program “FESSUD - Financialisation, economy, society and sustainable development”. She has collaborated in research projects for the European Commission on the study of violence against women and gender inequality (2015-2017). Her research interests include economic and environmental dynamics with heterogeneous agents, the inequality-environment nexus, gender violence.
