RICCARELLI SAMUELE

Samuele Riccarelli is a researcher in Mathematical and Statistical Methods for Economic Analysis at the Department of Political Economy and Statistics of the University of Siena. After graduating in Statistical and Economic Sciences at the University of Siena, he obtained a PhD in Mathematics for the Analysis of Financial Markets at the University of Brescia. In his course of study, always in the field of economic statistics, there are research periods at the Hasselt University and the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. His main research interests embrace the following topics: analysis of probabilistic models of mixtures of random variables, analysis of both statistical and probabilistic models of perceived speed, methods of evaluating financial investments. Lately his research activity has focused on the characteristics of the moments of distributions related to the evaluation of the perceived speed under the hypothesis of symmetry of the effective speed distribution.
