Leonardo Ridolfi is Associate Professor of Economic History. He holds a bachelor's degree in History from the University of Pisa and a master's degree in Economics from the University of Pisa and the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna in Pisa. He also earned his PhD in Economics from IMT Lucca. His research analyzes long-term economic growth, pre-industrial labor markets, the causes and consequences of technological change, and the accumulation of human capital on economic development. His work has been published, among the others, in international journals such as the Journal of Economic History, the European Review of Economic History, and Cliometrica. Since January 2024 he is Associate Editor of Cliometrica.
