Presentation

Born on January the 12th 1985, I graduated in Economics at the University of Siena in 2010 and completed my PhD in Economics at the Department of Economics and Statistics of the same University in 2015. After three years as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Economics of Roma Tre University, I was appointed Visiting Professor at the Freie Universität in Berlin and then joined the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Societies (in Cologne) as a Postdoctoral Fellow. I am a macroeconomist and my main research interests are growth theory, income distribution and Post-Keynesian Economics, but I have also worked on environmental issues and labour market dynamics. I am author of numerous articles in international, peer-reviewed journals and the supervisor of several PhD students. I am a member of EAEPE (European Association for Evolutionary Political Economy), STOREP (Associazione Italiana per la Storia dell’Economia Politica) and of the Italian Post-Keynesian Network, and Associate Editor of the Review of Keynesian
