MONACI FABRIZIO

My research interests concern Ecosystem Ecology and Ecotoxicology, with particular attention to contaminants, especially mercury, and the environmental processes that distribute them among plants, soils, and atmosphere, influencing natural systems. Currently, I am expanding my studies with stable isotope analysis to deepen the understanding of biogeochemical cycles, environmental changes, and trophic interactions between organisms. Having completed much of my academic training abroad, particularly in the United Kingdom, the United States, and Canada, I am strongly oriented toward international collaboration in both research and teaching.
