Ph.D. in Sociology, I am Contract (B) Researcher at the Department of Social, Political and Cognitive Sciences, Università di Siena. Actually I teach Health, Lifestyles and Social Work, Social Work Management, and Sociology. From 2014-2015 to 2021-2022 academic year I was Adjunct Professor of Sociology at the Bachelor Degree Course in Nursing Science, Università degli Studi di Firenze. I am currently working on two main areas of research. The first thematic area regards poverty, inequalities and homelessness. The second is the impact of the pandemic on socio-health professions in terms of work organization, complexity of the provision of services, and personal and professional efforts required to deal with the situation.
