Ph.D. in Sociology, since 2007 her research has focused on social inequalities, poverty, and health. More recently, her research activity has expanded to include issues related to social intervention, the organization of social and health services, and transformations in the social work profession. She is President of the Teaching Committee of the Bachelor’s Degree Programme in Social Work (L-39). She is a member of the Inequalities Laboratory at DISPOC and serves as Territorial Representative (2025–2027) of the Italian Society of Sociology of Health (SISS).
