Presentation

I am assisstant professor in the Department of Economics and Statistics at the University of Siena. Previously I was a post-doc researcher at the University of Firenze, and I have worked in the Chief Economist Unit of the Directorate General of the European Commission from 2015 to 2020. 

My research activities include regional economics, the green and digital transitions, convergence paths and opportunities for marginal regions in Italy and Europe. I also work on productivity, institutions, economics of innovation and the analysis of public policies, including research and innovation policies.

Office hours

Wednesdays 11:00- 13:00. Students are required to book a meeting by email beforehand.
