Martina Cioni is professor (STEC-01/B) at the Department of Economics and Statistics of the University of Siena. She studied Economics at the University of Siena and received her PhD in Economics at the University of Siena. She was postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Florence and the University of Siena. Her main fields of interest are: labour economics, industrial economics, economic history as discipline and its relations with economics, analysis of scientific communities from the perspective of both intellectual and social relations. She has published several scientific papers in peer-reviewed international journals.
