Associate Professor in Economic Sociology, Ph.D. In Political Sociology, since November 2019 I am part of the Department of Social, Political and Cognitive Sciences of the University of Siena.
I held a Jean Monnet module (2003-2008) on the Information Society in Europe, at the University of Florence; Jean Monnet Fellow at the European University Institute (2004-2005) and co-director of the journal Sociologica. Italian Journal of Sociology on line (2010-2012).
My main research interests are public policies in the field of innovation; democracy and digital communication; deliberative democracy; political class; collective action; digital capitalism and democracy; digital cities; digital transformation and work.
