The current research activity is focused on topics of cell biology and functional morphology in eukaryotic cells, with particular reference to the mechanisms of vesicular traffic and intraflagellar transport in ciliated cells and in non-ciliated cells of the immune system through the development and use of advanced bioimaging techniques.
