I am interested in behavioural ecology, management and conservation of large vertebrates, with an emphasis on ungulates and mammalian carnivores.
Research lines:
1. Adaptive mechanisms of coexistence in multi-species systems, e.g. competition, facilitation, predator-prey relationships and top-down/bottom-up processes in general.
2. Behaviour of gregarious foragers, including aggressive, vigilance, foraging, reproductive and spatial behaviour.
3. Impacts of ungulates on ecosystems and human activities, as well as mitigation of human-wildlife conflicts.
