Presentation

My scientific interests lie in botany, vegetation science and conservation biology.

My lines of research revolve around biodiversity and include an understanding of habitats at different spatial scales.

I am involved in plant community classification, protected areas, nature conservation and ecoinformatics.

I manage the international database for vegetation data 'CircumMed', developed for large-scale studies in vegetation classification, biological invasions, macroecology and conservation.
