The main research topics are oriented towards: 1) understanding the histopathological changes of the lymphatic collectors in patients suffering from lymphedema secondary to oncological surgery and in patients with idiopathic lymphedema; 2) study of the organization of the cellular and extracellular matrix components in epiretinal membranes from patients undergoing surgical removal.
